Sponsor Mentions
Sponsorship Guidelines
Sponsor “mentions” provide companies and non-profits a unique way to promote, educate and inform listeners about their cause. The website and Facebook present additional means to reach a broad marketplace.
Our costs include bandwidth and music licensing fees that we must be covered on a monthly basis. Underwriting allows us the opportunity to recoup these costs and provide a music intensive product for all to enjoy.
All mentions will be kept under 20 seconds.
We request at least one week notice to produce and log all mentions.
All mentions will be subject to the approval of our Programming Board.
We follow the basic standards of other similar entities such as National Public Radio criteria.
On-air sponsorship language generally must be:
noncommercial in nature
entirely factual and value-neutral
free of qualitative or comparative statements.
Underwriting credits may include:
a description of products or services, including brand names
the location of underwriter, products or services
a description of key or target markets
long-standing slogans that identify the underwriter’s business
a telephone number or website address, but not a “call to action.”
We reserve the right to refuse any underwriting it deems to be offensive to our listeners.
